Konnos is proud to be an interior design partner for Gyokuu, an exclusive Omakase restaurant, at the new Sydney Fish Markets, currently under construction and set for completion in 2025. Working in collaboration with Liteco as the lead designers, we are crafting a unique dining environment that reflects the refined artistry of Gyokuu’s exceptional culinary experience.

The design will focus on creating a serene, intimate atmosphere that enhances the theatre of Omakase, with natural materials and a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic. The space will feature elements that evoke a sense of calm and luxury, providing an elevated, immersive experience for diners. Together with Liteco’s vision and Gyokuu’s commitment to excellence, we’re creating a world-class venue that seamlessly blends the tradition of Japanese dining with contemporary design in one of Sydney’s most iconic locations.
